The perfect option for contemporary fencing. Milled from slow grown 5ths Scandinavian redwood with a finished size of 70 × 20mm. Why not do s mix and match with our 45 × 20mm Scandinavian Redwood batten.
Pressure treated for a longer life expectancy ( UC3)
All timber species will naturally fade over time. Our redwood will fade to a silvery/soft grey in around 12- 18 months depending on the exposure level. We recommend the use of oils to ‘feed’ the timber and to slow down the UV fading. Our most popular options are Decking Oil and Amour Flex Ultimate UV Protector.
If you wish to add more colour then we recommend the solvent based Wood Treatment in a range of colours by Barrettine. Additional timber treatments should only be applied once the pressure treatment has had a chance to settle. The weather should be mild and dry but please follow all manufacturer’s instructions.
We recommend stainless steel fixings are used.

Timber is a natural products wane, splits and knots and movement are not considered defects) We strongly recommend that 10% is added to your requirements when constructing venetian fencing
