DeckTape® by Walther Strong
Protect your decking substructure with the a non-butyl self-sealing tape. Manufactured from a massively strong polymer acrylic adhesive, which gives a completely waterproof and weatherproof seal.

A permeant adhesive bond tested on treated timbers. It can even be used with composite decking. UV stable and stable from -40 degrees to +93 degrees, no cracking, peeling or strength lost.
No need to wrap your joist simply apply as a cap to the top of the joist. It can also be used to seal cut ends. To prevent fixing corrosion it can be used between the treated timber and the fixing.
Can be applied to damp timber or below freezing. Cannot be applied to wet timber or in the rain.
