Proud Supplier To BBC’s Gardeners World Live 2025

The Dougas Fir was charred to provide interest, additional rot resistance and was a key element of the overall design.

A Garden Worth Talking About

Nick Bailey’s garden at Gardeners’ World Live 2025 was a stunning combination of structure and softness – blending textural hard landscaping with vibrant planting. Our Douglas Fir was used prominently in the design, helping to create the warm, welcoming, and natural feel that defined the space. It was a real thrill to see our timber integrated so thoughtfully into a design that was praised by both visitors and the gardening community. The garden was called ‘The Plant Based garden’ was designed with sustainability at its heart and with heaps of Make A meter Matter ideas to take home. He wanted to prove it was possible to create a whole garden with only renewable resources and he hopes people will embrace its ethos.
